START HEALING Foundation's role in the community is to provide a support system and empower people affected by cancer, in their own emotional healing through art.

The primary mission of START HEALING FOUNDATION is two-fold; first to provide support throughout treatment and recovery auxiliary to those with cancer, cancer survivors, caregivers and/or their families and second to support emotional healing through art and creative expression for those
living with stresses due to cancer.

founder + CEO

Zelia’s arts are inspirational + visually beautiful. She creates art anticipating it will inspire a cancer survivor, patient, caregiver, family member or anyone affected by cancer to create and participate in their own healing. Her arts mostly paint in the abstract expressionist style.
