I am Coach K and I am in my first year teaching and coaching at Pomona Catholic. I am a Damien graduate (Class of 2001) where I lettered in football and track. I have been teaching and coaching for over 15 years. I previously coached at both the NCAA and high school levels. I have coached several different sports, including basketball ,football, track and wrestling. 

During my coaching career I have served many roles, including winning two championships as a women’s basketball head coach. The most rewarding part of the athletics experience for me is helping guide my athletes through competition and helping them realize how the lessons from the court translate to their lives. 

I have been married for 10 years, and have  two children, my daughter is a Junior at Bishop Amat high school and my son is in 3rd grade. I am looking forward to a great season, filled with many successes both on and off the court.

Hello I’m Coach Chantel, and I am extremely excited to work alongside my assistant Meagan, to provide the best possible experience for PC Cheer. My sole purpose is to utilize the love of cheer to provide opportunities for growth, whether it is in the areas of leadership, communication, compassion or competitive mindset. My goals are to create a competitive team and facilitate a team environment within all the athletes and their families. Proper technique being utilized is of utmost importance for proper progression and to avoid injuries. To create a team where everyone is held to a higher standard of excellence and is accountable for their commitment to their team. Change is never easy, but I am up for the challenge and every excited for the opportunity to provide Pomona Catholic all my experience and knowledge.
